Zeynep Kaptan
Zeynep Kaptan is a Turkish actress and singer based in New York City. Her artistic journey began in childhood with piano lessons and school productions, and later signed with Gestt Agency in Türkiye. Driven to expand her craft, Zeynep moved to New York to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she completed the two-year program and went on to become a member of the 2025-2026 New York Academy Company. She serves as Vice President of Weird Fishes Productions, LLC, a New York–based production company founded by Isabella Alfaro. Their latest short film, When the Radio Goes Silent, has been submitted to festivals, and they are currently in pre-production for their next project, NEARBY. She is fascinated by the ways we try to make sense of this curious world and passionate about stories that reveal vulnerability, truth and the messy, beautiful parts of being human. Beyond acting, she is deeply passionate about photography and continues to find joy in playing the piano, reading, swimming, and walking around the city with her camera in hand.
